A Ni-Al primary composite bondcoat powder containing typically 5% Aluminum. When flame sprayed, the particles go through a metallurgical phase change that allows self bonding to clean oxide free metal surfaces except Copper. Used as a bondcoat on properly prepared surfaces to a thickness of 0.004" to 0.008". |

A Ni-Cr-B-Si-Al-Mo composite self-bonding powder. Bonds to clean oxide free properly prepared surfaces except Copper without the use of a separate bonding coat. Produces hard, high wear resistant stainless type coating. Used for bearing journals, pump seals, and cylinder liners. Can be finished by grinding only. |

A Ni-Cr-Al self-bonding composite powder for excellent resistance to high temperature oxidation and corrosive gases. Can be finished by Carbide tools or grinding. For salvage and buildup of Ni and Ni alloys where high temperature oxidation is encountered. PA # 13 is NOT self-bonding when Combustion sprayed though it exhibits high bondstrength; hence correct surface preparation is advised for combustion sprayed coatings. However with the Plasma Spray process, it is self-bonding. |

A general purpose Inconel type self-bonding, composite powder that produces stainless type coatings for good wear and high corrosion resistance. Can be machined using Carbide tools. Used as a general purpose material for mismachined or worn out components, e.g. bearing journals, pump seals, press fits etc. |

447 | 19131 21031 |
A Ni-Al-Mo self-bonding composite one step powder. Exhibits good wear resistance for hard bearing applications. Has extremely high bondstrength making it an ideal material for spraying inside diameters. Can be finished with Carbide tools. Applications include mismachined and worn out components, fuel pump rotors, hydroelectric valves etc. Takes heavy buildups without cracking due to high interparticle bonding. Extremely good material for inside bearing fits. |

An inexpensive Iron base self-bonding composite powder containing Aluminum as an exothermic component. Can be used for heavy buildups without cracking. Not recommend- ed where temperatures above 7000F are encountered or for corrosive atmospheres. Can be finished with Carbide tools. Applications include bearing journals, hydraulic rams, seals, misma- chined and worn out components etc. |
