HIJET 2000 Wire Flame Spray Gun
The HIJET™ 2000 is a new generation High Velocity Combustion Wire Spray System with a supersonic
flame that results in improved heating, higher bond strength, and better coating quality. At least seven
shock diamonds, characteristic of a supersonic flame are visible in the flame of this gun. HIJET™ 2000 is a unique piece of equipment designed with the utmost simplicity in design and ease of
maintenance. Compared to the HVOF or Plasma Spray techniques, the operating costs for the
HIJET 2000 are much lower.
The HIJET™ 2000 Wire Spray Gun Features:
-
The wire feed system is an integral part of the gun and has no external moving
parts except the drive shaft which is the output shaft of the DC motor.
-
The control unit contains the power supply, filter and amplifier. Speed control is achieved with a ten
turn potentiometer for high resolution.
-
A digital display shows relative wire feed rate.
-
Proper fuses are used at the AC input and the DC output for circuit protection.
-
The cables used are sturdy and have molded end connectors for long service life.
-
The drive system does not need any lubrication.
The HIJET™ 2000 uses:
-
Propane, Oxygen and
Compressed Air. The
Compressed Air requirement
is relatively reduced as the
wire feed is electrically
driven with an added
advantage of constant torque
at all speeds.
-
A standard gas head of proven design with a cylindrical valve.
-
A patented siphon plug, nozzle and air cap design which creates the higher velocity of the flame.
-
The air cap and air cap body have cooling fins that provide a large cooling area. This design
brings down the initial cost and operating expenses of the system because forced water cooling is
not required.
-
Optional low velocity hardware for high production application.
