Spray 100 Powder Spray Gun
The PPS SPRAY TORCH - 100 is a thermal spraying gun for coating metal or cermet powders on to solid works surfaces. The powder to be sprayed is carried in a hopper mounted on the gun. The powder is fed into a spraying head through a rubber tube attached to the bottom of the head. Oxygen and acetylene are introduced in the torch through two separate inlets. They get mixed in a mixing chamber and then issue out in the spray head. The suction created helps in a controlled aspiration of the powder falling from the hopper. The gas mixture burns at the tip of spray head and the powder issuing into it gets heated and propelled on to the work surface. The deposited material is then melted by subsequent flame heating for making a fuse bond coating.

Powder feed is precisely metered and only a very minute amount is lost by being blown away or consumed in the flame. The deposit efficiencies are very high.

The design of the torch is such that it can spray a wide variety or powders. The copper spray tips are easily interchanged, if so needed.
